This is how I suggest experiencing Iceland - Rent your self a camper van, drive around the entire country, and take every back road you come across, there are magical sites around every corner. Park under the stars and fall asleep to the intense wind rocking your van like a cradle. Maybe your sliding door will fall off and your heater will simultaneously stop working ??‍♀️, and you’ll snuggle extra tight in your mummy sleeping bag that night to try and keep warm in the below freezing temperature until help comes in the morning. That’s how we did it, and we had the time of our life.
