Though uniforms can impose a communal identity on the individuals who wear them, the stories of service, war, and loss @Jean.Shin heard from the uniform donors were unique and deeply moving. In "Armed," Shin connects those stories and challenges the function of camouflage by making visible the presence of the individuals who served.
