Today I felt quite depressed and somewhat frustrated and I think a lot of you guys do so as well. And I think that society in puts a lot of pressure on people to feel happy, like if you don’t feel happy it means you’re not grateful. Being sad, frustrated, hurt, etc are not bad feelings you need to hide. You know what’s really “bad”? Not feeling anything at all. I’ve been there and while I knew in my head that I was hurt or sad I just felt empty and hollow..like there’s an infinite darkness expanding inside me. All the time, 24/8. It made me feel like being dead is no different from being alive. Remembering that again today me accept my “bad” feelings and just let me experience them, and as it weird as it sounds, consciously feeling those “bad” feelings actually made me feel more relaxed!
