Glacial erosion is mainly responsible for the sculpting of the massif within the last ten thousand years. Due to its breathtaking formations and wild remoteness, it’s a magnet for climbers and adventure seekers from all over the world. The catch is: the area boasts some of the worst weather in the world. The westerly winds and rain that whip through the park are infamous for their power.
