350 tons and 8 meters in diameter, these nacelles are powerhouses, literally. They contain the generator, hub and control systems of the GE Haliade 150-6MW wind turbines destined for Merkur offshore wind farm. Photographer @finn shot five finished nacelles as they awaited shipment to the port in the Netherlands where they met the other turbine components for the first time. Nearly 2 million pieces and more than 400 workers constructed the 66 nacelles headed to Merkur. Check out our Story for a closer look at this phase of the #WindCycle.
