This week we’re celebrating artwork at Tate made by artists when they were aged 16-25.

David Jones was a poet as well as an artist, and fought as a private during the First World War, where most of his company was wiped out. His drawing of a nude woman was made while he was serving as a soldier at aged 22. He was the longest serving war poet/artist of the First World War.
