Three new exhibitions are opening on May 2—including the first US solo exhibitions for #AnnaBoghiguian and #HiwaK.

In “Anna Boghiguian: The Loom of History,” the Armenian-Egyptian artist will present her raw and expressionistic works, which combine painting, drawing, writing, collage, and sculpture.

In “Hiwa K: Blind as the Mother Tongue,” Iraqi-Kurdish artist #HiwaK will present work inspired by political events, chance encounters, oral histories, and his own experiences, including fleeing Iraq on foot in the late 1990s.

Artist #Aaron Fowler creates elaborate assemblage paintings from discarded found objects and unconventional materials sourced from his local surroundings. He will present "Bigger Than Me," a new installation of his work in our storefront window.
