We're taking you deep into the heart of southwestern Uganda on a daring rescue mission to save a lioness called Natureenda. African lions are threatened by poaching, and thus lioness was caught in a cable snare. Poachers do this to catch antelope like kobs, impalas and gazelle but lions are caught as bycatch. Can you believe that if more anti poaching and de-snaring was enforced in this area, it could be one of the most important areas for lions in East Africa. With as few as 18 - 30 000 lions left in the world the time to act and save lions is now!
