Radio antennas attached to the wings of the airplane help pinpoint the VHF signals broadcasted by collared cats. Monitoring the landscape movements of panthers helps guide habitat conservation and management decisions. The Florida panther has come back from the brink of extinction in South Florida and now needs access to habitat throughout the state to continue its recovery.
