The World at Night project
The Full Moon was rising over Taj Mahal. It was in 2007, the beginning of night in Agra, on an adventurous road trip across India. This World Heritage Site of white marble is considered a monument to eternal love. Completed in 1643 during king Shah Jahan who built this after the death of his beloved Persian wife Mumtaz Mahal.
If you ever visit Agra remember Taj Mahal is usually open to small number of visitors for a few night each month around the full moon, when the marbles shine brightly by the moonlight.
