Daniel is a small, very cool little village on US Route 189 and lies at the northern end of the large basin that defines southern Wyoming. At just over 7000ft Daniel is cold throughout the winter - there aren’t many trees either as the surrounding fields and hills are generally covered in grasses and sage brush, making Daniel a pretty windy place to hang out. I love the old gas station in Daniel, there are a few other buildings of similar looking age and ‘humble’ design but the gas station stands out as a lovely relic.
