“Over the Christmas break, I returned to work as a guide down on the Antarctic Peninsula. My role down there is to teach passengers about photography but also educate them about the delicate environment down there such as the ice formations and the indigenous animals they encountered. I'll admit that I was a little stressed about spending 6 weeks away from civilization thinking I would lose work elsewhere but that was never the case. If anything, it was such a strong reminder that being disconnected from time to time is healthy for the soul.
