Big cats around the globe have been increasingly threatened over the last 100 years. In this brief time Tiger populations have been reduced by 95% and African lion populations dropped by 40% in just 20 years through hunting, poaching and habitat loss. Efforts are being made to protect these majestic animals and generating awareness is a big step.
