A Great White Shark swims through a school of jacks in the waters of South Australia. New research is revealing fascinating and complex information about the lives of this dominant apex predator species of shark, the largest predatory fish on Earth. One study reveals that white sharks live well into their 70s, much longer than was previously believed.
White sharks migrate thousands of miles annually, a behavior that differs drastically from terrestrial predators. What wisdom might a long lived animal that travels thousands of miles each year possess?
