Today marks the start of #WomensHistoryMonth, and we’re challenging you to name #5WomenArtists. We set the same challenge for Katy Hessel, of @thegreatwomenartists who is sharing her favourite five throughout today. Who would you choose?

‘It wouldn't be #WomensHistoryMonth without showcasing two of the best of the #TurbineHall moments. Louise Bourgeois was the first artist to ever take over the ground-breaking and mesmerising artistic space in 2000 with her staggering nine-metre sculpture, Maman. YBA sensation #RachelWhiteread was next in 2005 with her epic installation, Embankment, made up of thousands of plaster-cast boxes that blew Tate-goers away.
