I like to mix high and low fashion, same with traditional and modern.

Recently I had a ‘match made in heaven’ moment.

My grandmother who was 92 handed down this silver tea saucer to me, saying she really wanted me to have it. It was kept in the cupboard for a while as I did not have a cup that fits.
・
I bought this tea cup and pot years later in Japan. It’s made by one of my favorite modern porcelain artist.
・
The center of the saucer contains a depression sized to fit a matching cup, and coincidentally this tea cup fit perfectly.
・
Traditional meets modern - match made in heaven.

It felt like my grandmother knew I would find a cup that would match her saucer.
