Chunky hound’s tooth check coat. This coat was designed and made by my mother 40 plus years ago and it’s still holding! I love it how there is a belt hole in front and back. The belt got lost along the way so I used my own Hermes belt which matched perfectly. Both the Black and Etoupe side. There was more clothes she designed and made but no longer... one of my favorite was a spring coat she made with a Kimono Obi material. She will always be my style inspiration.

40年以上前に母がデザインして縫った千鳥格子のコート。ベルトホールが前と後ろにあり、ベルトを通すデザイン。ベルトは無くしてしまったので、エルメスのベルトと合わせてみたらぴったり。両面、黒もいいし、エトープもいい感じに。昔の方が個性があって細かい縫製のデザインが多いような。母がデザインした洋服で一番好きなのは、着物の帯の生地で作ったスプリングコート。もう捨ててしまったようです…残念。
