Go out on a foggy evening and sit amongst the Standing Stones of Stenness (700 years older than Stonehenge) and commune with the sprits of the Neolithic Orkney folk who built it 5,000 years ago. Just down the road is the Ring of Brodgar and nearby is Maeshowe chambered tomb.
