Photo by @taylorglenn // Mountain guide Ake Lindstrom stands next to one of the few remaining summit glaciers on Tanzania's Mt Kilimanjaro. Mt Meru can be seen in the background. After summiting we took a brief detour to get closer to these magical formations. He has been guiding here for the past decade or so and has a good reference of how much these glaciers have changed. I asked him how long he thought they will remain. He estimates 10 years from now before they disappear.
