We have an amazing cast and crew working on #MapplethorpeMovie and during the next few weeks we would like to introduce some of them to you. We of course have to start with our leading man, #MattSmith, who played #RobertMapplethorpe in the film. To those of you who don’t know, Matt Smith is an English actor who first shot to fame in the UK aged 26 when he was cast by producer #StevenMoffat as the Eleventh Doctor in the BBC's iconic science-fiction adventure series #DoctorWho (2005) making him the youngest Doctor Who ever. Most recently he portrayed #PrincePhilip, Duke of Edinburgh in the #Netflix biographical drama series #TheCrown. Matt Smith gives an incredible performance as Robert Mapplethorpe and we think it’s his best work to date.
