In the Galleries: This is one of the most iconic works of art by #JosephBeuys. Originally created for the artist to wear during a performance protesting the Vietnam War, Beuys later created an edition of 100 felt suits to help promote art as a conduit for social change and healing. Produced in an oversize length using soft felt, Beuys also believed that his suits embodied the spiritual warmth of the power of art.
