The work belongs to a series of 15kg discs developed to capture and interpret in cast glass the unique beauty, fragility and ecological importance of the Long Reef Aquatic Reserve in Sydney.

Resplendent in its richly saturated emerald greens and turquoise blues and shimmering with captured light, the work was inspired by small underwater pools seen at low tide.
