ITS MY BIRTHDAY🎁🎂!!! Woohoo!
I feel all sorts of feelings...but most importantly, honored that I get to live this life so far for 30 years ☺️
While I was in Slovenia few weeks ago I got to celebrate the most magical birthday. I’m HONORED that I could gather my family members and closest friends at @gradstrmol
a castle that my Great granfather's brother Rado Hribar owned, now used by a conference site for the government of the Republic of Slovenia. He was a banker and an industrialist. Had no idea that together with his brother, he also created the aircraft factory. Sadly, the 2nd World War showed it's dark side and the story didn’t end well.
It is important to know your history. So thank you all the writers/authors who wrote books about my Hribar family line.
It was already an overwhelming day of emotions and then two of the most respected artists in Slovenia @nusaderenda and Rock’n’band group surprised me by performing for me. I can not thank you enough! But that wasn't all... Well, I'll wait with the biggest surprise of the night and write about it in the next post.
I felt like I was in a true FAIRY TALE 🙈✨😄! Thank you to my parents, for making my 30th birthday the most beautiful day in my life! And thank you again castle Strmol for your delicious food, atmosphere and guidance throughout our family history. It still feels surreal to me.
If it weren’t for them, I wouldn’t be here... I’m trying to hold on to this legacy every step of the way. I know I’m making them proud. I feel truly grateful. Everyone should learn more about their history. You never know what can come up!! . . .
