This photo was taken at 11:40PM, so one could pretty much say it was taken under the midnight sun. I was already out on these Icelandic grassy bluffs for 8 hours photographing Atlantic puffins and felt pretty exhausted at this point. Unfortunately, the sunrise was at 3:10AM so a full night's sleep was just not meant to happen. The joys of shooting near the poles during the summer season!
