The 5th gallery of the exhibition “Being Modern: MoMA in Paris” at the @fondationLV until March 5, 2018 opens onto the new forms of expression that developed starting in the 1960s surrounding questions of the body and identity, echoing the social revolutions.
In a new version of the American Flag, David Hammons mixes the three colors of the Pan-African flag (red, black and green) instead of red, white and blue. With this artwork which welcomed visitors at the @ニューヨーク近代美術館 before it arrived at the @fondationlv, the artist evokes the African-American culture.
