Soooooooo I was never really allergic to anything basically my entire life—well Not until the last couple of years. And of course- sadly- I’m starting to have a problem eating some of my favorite foods. First it was red onions in my salad (I think). It would feel like i had a bunch of little paper cuts on my tongue. Then my beloved Pasta!! As someone who asked my mom to cook this pretty much every night growing up- this one hurt my heart (I haven’t given it up totally yet.) but I notice every time I eat pasta my stomachs puffs out and kinda hurts and just looks inflamed (i even get a lil back fat puffiness around my waist and my waist gets about FOUR inches bigger!!!) and I basically look pregnant for a few DAYS (damn u gluten!) now cheese is becoming the enemy. This one really hurts! I had a few pieces of cheese from Whole Foods the other day- and the affect it had on my body was crazy! I’d like to know if any of you have experienced the same symptoms. First I get a scratchy throat, my eyes get watery and I feel like I’m about to get a cold. Then I get a headache and I feel like there’s inflammation in my head- I know that sounds nuts but that’s the best way I can describe it. My question is- why am I getting this at 44? Is the food changing or is it my body changing? I see things about how these awful GMOs are harming us- so I know the quality of our foods are definitely compromised but damn. The foods I grew up loving are now giving me sore throats, inflamed tummies, headaches and dry coughs. This is nuts! Ice cream too! And anyone that knows me knows how I feel about Cold Stone ice cream ?? this is low key torture because I literally LOVE food. Anyone in the same boat? Anyone have remedies besides totally avoiding these things? Helllllllllp #IMissIceCream #ILoveGarlicNoodles #CheeseIsMyBae #ICantQuitYouRice #ThisAintFunnyGod oh and bread hurts me to! Not fair!!
