This is @petewatsonmusic. Pete has been our keyboard player and musical director for 8 years, since our very first shows in 2009.
One of the reasons our band sounds so consistent when we play live, is because of Pete. He is so much more than a keyboard player who stands at the back of the stage. He is the control centre of our band. At every show there are so many unseen processes that occur, that enable us to sound as polished as we hope we do. There is also so much work that occurs before a tour begins. An endless amount. Pete is in charge of ALL of this and works tirelessly to ensure that Theo and myself (and the other musicians) can flourish and the songs truly resemble the vision we have for them.
Pete is from Wigan, a small town in the North of England. He is a beautifully balanced Person. The calmest, most patient man I know. For eight years I have playfully tried to break him but he is absolutely uncrackable (I will keep trying). He also talks in his sleep and eats a preposterously high volume of chocolate.
I wanted to give Pete this moment to say thanks for everything and to let our fans know how important he is to us. Our show simply wouldn't happen without him.
