Founded 14 years ago by Fernanda Bianchini, a Brazilian dancer without any problem of view, her school has become worldwide a point of reference. "It's incredible to see them dancing and judging by how they move, softly and perfectly coordinated, it is almost impossible to think they do not see. It's exciting and amazing at the same time", said the mayor of Sao Paulo, after their last show. In fact Fernanda's ballet has performed already more than 100 shows in theaters all around South America and also went to New York after the Soviet-born Russian American dancer Michail Baryshnikov -that visited the school years ago - invited them to present their show in the main New York's Broadway theatres. Everything started in 1995, when Fernanda created an association that started giving free lessons to blind dancers. From then on the success has been so enormous that Miss Bianchini has even patented his technique of dance teaching. In her school anyway there is non just place for professionals but also for amateurs. The age is not important, there are babies of 3 years old and mature women.
