HIV is still a big problem in many many parts of the world, including the U.S. On this #WorldAIDSDay, let’s use our voices to speak out about stigma. 1.1 million people in the US are living with HIV, and 1 in 7 of them don’t know it. Many people are too afraid to get tested because of the unique stigma that surrounds an HIV+ diagnosis. Let’s change this. Let’s not let myths and misinformation about HIV and AIDS prevent us from talking about it and knowing our status.
