A volcano gushing columns of ash closed the airport on the Indonesian tourist island of Bali for a second day on Nov. 28, 2017, as authorities renewed warnings for nearby villages to evacuate. Mount Agung has been hurling ash clouds about 9,800 feet (3,000 meters) above its cone since the weekend, the Associated Press reports, and lava is welling in the crater, sometimes reflected as an orange-red glow in the plumes.
