Britain’s Prince Harry and former 'Suits' star Meghan Markle announced their engagement on Nov. 27, 2017. Clarence House released a statement on Monday morning that Harry had informed the Queen, as well as other close family members, and that the wedding would take place in the spring. The couple will live in Nottingham Cottage at Kensington Palace. Markle’s parents said in a similar statement that they were "incredibly happy" for the pair: "Our daughter has always been a kind and loving person," they added. "To see her union with Harry, who shares the same qualities, is a source of great joy for us as parents." Harry, 33, and Los Angeles-born Markle, 36, have been dating for at least 15 months. They met for the first time in London in July 2016, when they were introduced by a mutual friend, and made their first public appearance together at the Invictus Games last September.
