Amidst all of the crazy, divisive politics on both sides of the pond, a tsunami of abuses surfacing, injustices being legitimised weekly and misinformation echoing to a degree that we can no longer hear- one thing is for sure: a change is gonna come.
Oh yes it will.
50 years ago these two people, US citizens or not, would not have been able to vote in the US.
And still we rise.

It’s not about getting Conde Nast approval, or being accepted by a notion of mainstream. It is about having no obstruction to being seen, heard, and respected as having been a major contribution to society, no longer invisible, but luminous, and powerfully influential.
Giving thanks to a year where representation has finally become not just the norm, but the necessary.
May it become the ordinary.
