Located on the Navajo Nation on the Utah/Arizona border. This formation has always had a magnetic appeal to me as one of the tallest, skinniest spires on the planet. ~

It has seen a number of ascents and has been used in movies like ‘Eiger Sanction’ with Clint Eastwood but is now off limits to climbing due to cultural and environmental sensitivities. ~
