I’m sad hearing the news about the passing of our friend and old colleague Abubakari Yakubu.
As a young player arriving at the first team of my former club Vitesse, Yaki was a leader on and off the pitch and with his hard word on the pitch he was an example for the team, the club and his fans and above all, for me as a young player. Never will I forget the jokes you made and the humor you brought to the team and the club Vitesse. My sincere condolences go out to his family and friends. May you Rest In Peace Yaki.
