Philadelphia has a special place in my heart. From the rich musical history, the Soul/neo-soul/hip hop the city has blessed us with. To my early spiritual formation from leaders. I love this city. There are also many great minds like the people you see in these pics. My sis Ekemini, who is a brilliant writer/activist/and theologian, and the voice you hear on my song “Facts”. Timothy Welbeck a young thriving black attorney, professor, and writer. Also Dr. Eric Mason gave many people language to deal with racial realities thru his “Woke Church” series and other initiatives. But mostly the people here are just Family. Philly I thank you for giving us The Roots, Jill Scott, and countless others, but also for giving me Cross Movement, R Swift and Da Truth.
