Happy Birthday to the main man in our lives! We served him challah french toast in bed, let him watch football uninterrupted, gave him the gift of our undying affection and lots of monkey-themed presents, as is our tradition. I let the girls each pick out their own gift. Mazzy got him a monkey mug and Harlow got him an electronic coin machine where you place a quarter on a little tray and a monkey pokes out of a box to take it. Mike declared them the best gifts ever. Then we celebrated with Gavin (it’s Gavin’s 8th birthday today too and our families always celebrate together), took our kayaks out for a spin in the bay and had Fudgie the Whale for dessert. Operation Daddy's Birthday Complete!
