If you are wondering what Harlow carries in her purse, she's got a macaron shaped lip balm, a phone I made for her out of construction paper and tape, and a wedding picture of Mike and me. The other day she switched purses and forgot to transfer the picture (I think we can all relate to the feeling of something important being left behind in a purse transfer) and got upset when she realized it was missing on the way to school. I tried to convince her that she could live without the picture for a day but she countered with, “No, I can’t! I look at it all the time!” At her teacher’s suggestion, I emailed her another picture and she had it printed out by the time class started. Thank god for modern technology.
