Who knew? Somehow I’ve become the working traveling woman who wakes around 6-7 AM and dreads to leave her home of @Anthropologie candles! I drink Starbucks wearing quilted backpacks by @ヴェラブラッドリー and with my legs crossed American standard style while sitting in my seat on the plane! In my 30’s and laser focused. By this time I thought I’d be married but I’m totally enjoying the selfish space of just God, me, family, and work. Loving who I love, prayer being my life, listening to the wise, helping who I can, reading more books, blogging and vlogging, and more sure of who I am. I find myself with a hint of my Nanna - Willie Mae and my mother - Karen Val! Conservative with a hint of spice. Laser focused like my dad- John Drew. A relationship with my money like my Grandfather - John Henry. Considerate of others but about my business. Thankful for this day and growth! Always googling, googling, researching, and posing story problems while building my business. No longer having the time, or the energy to “read” someone. Many transitions in this year have prepped me to not hold onto people so tightly. Less explanations are given and it’s so liberating! When I was younger I said I’d never wear wigs, now I live by them. Just having a moment of seeing who I’ve become. I want more but I’ve made progress. I’m simply loving her - me. I’m pretty cool!
