As a group, the wildfires ravaging northern California are already considered among the deadliest in the state's history. The Associated Press reports that at least 10 people have died and some 1,500 homes and businesses have been destroyed. The area of Santa Rosa, seen in this panorama on Oct. 9, 2017, has been hit particularly hard.
