1. 'Rose is a mother of 3 and has only recently been granted stay in the UK. With all 3 children born here, she raised them with the constant fear that she could be deported at a moment's notice. Her perseverance and strength not only has built a beautiful relationship with her children, but given them a better life than the one she left in Africa. Belief is the cornerstone of Rose’s story, and in meeting her, I realised just how large a part it's been of mine.' 2. 'Awal is a Burner Boy from Ghana who makes a living risking his health burning e-waste scrap for copper. His relentless pursuit of funds to support his family and build a better life reminded me of my own family. Living with Awal was a reminder of how far my family of Ghanaian immigrants in the UK have come, and how many opportunities I'm blessed with.' 3. 'Christian now resides in the UK and lives with Albinism, a condition causing a reduction or absence of melanin. Originally from Cameroon, Christian feared for his life after escaping a kidnap plot. No longer living in fear, he’s been granted asylum and is rebuilding his life in the UK. Christian is now a vocal and very visible advocate for albinism awareness and the struggle people across Africa face.' ‘This collection is of people I've met around the world who have gifted me their time, energy and image.
