In the late nineties, designer and artist @carlobrandelli showcased his concept of 'Unstructured Tailoring'- a modern spin on Savile Row suiting, which stripped jackets of their heavy inner fabrics and horse hair linings. A lightweight and gauzy design from 2005, created under Brandelli's label 'Squire', forms part of the collection of garments in 'Items: Is Fashion Modern?' at the @ニューヨーク近代美術館. The institution's first fashion exhibition in 73 years, its curator @paolantonelli has selected 300 garments and accessories that have had a lasting impact on society.
