Recently someone asked which of my mother's solo recordings I would recommend them to check out as a first time listener. When this question was asked, I happened to be with my mother's record label A&R man, and posed the same question to him. He thought long and hard, then said he felt this album is a great starting point, without coincidence her very first. I love the artwork!
