I did a feature with the well know Enka Singer "Shinno Mika-San" for her next album she will release next January 1st.
We covered one of my favorite Enka songs, and we swinged it. This style used to be common in the 60's, when Japanese Pop (流行歌) industry used to have strong Jazz and Latin Music Influence. Nowadays nobody does it. This recording was soulful, fresh, and one step further than what we think Enka is. World is global now and we have no barriers. I'm so grateful with Shinno-San for giving me this opportunity and I hope this connects with many things in the future.
