The Kawazu Seven Falls (Kawazunanadaru) are well known among tourists to the Izu Peninsula. Shokeidaru, one of the seven falls, was featured in ‘The Izu Dancer’ by Japanese novelist and Nobel Prize winner Yasunari Kawabata. Here you can find a statue of ‘The Dancer and Me.’ With the falls in the background, the scene overflows with beauty and emotion. It’s only natural that this is the most popular of the Seven Falls.
