one of a plethora of the beautiful cakes made by @Linda Lomelino for our gotland workshop afternoon tea table. As delicious as it was pretty. inspired by classic swedish flavors and the many laden old apple trees at the farmhouse. how gorgeous are those little flecks of cinnamon in the frosting?

these last weeks have been filled with discussions about creativity and it's practice. I believe it is both a necessity and deeply personal process to be nurtured and attended to daily.It's essential to the development and sustainability of every creatives path. It's not easy. But working with so many talented individuals at our workshop and watching @Linda Lomelino & @adelasterfoodtextures work through their own individual practices has been amazing - as have the beautiful breakfasts by the sea and long candlelit dinners talking about all types of creativity and creative practices - it's been nothing short of inspiring and my heart is feeling full and light and I'm looking forward to using all this creative workshop fuel in the months to come.
