Yesterday, I stayed off the internet, left my laptop at home, and focused my energy on where I can make a difference— with my kids. We skipped camp and took a short road trip to Montauk for the day instead. We ate lobster rolls, watched the waves roll in, climbed the lighthouse and had dinner on the beach as the sun set. I am so thankful for the simple moments of joy that exist while my kids are still young.
