I believe properly educating our children is one big action we can take to make this world a better place, which is why I stepped up my efforts this year to read books to my kids that teach kindness, inclusion and the importance of diversity. After the horrific events in Charlottesville this past weekend, I reached out to @happily.ever.elephants to help broaden my collection and give her recommendations on my blog so they can be shared to a wider audience.
