GALLERY TARGET (東京) / KIYONAGA&CO. (福岡) ではアーティストKYNEによるソロエキジビション "KYNE TOKYO / KYNE FUKUOKA" を順次開催しております。

GALLERY TARGET (東京)にて7月20日 – 8月4日の期間、大好評のうち終了した"KYNE TOKYO"展。
8月26日からは会場をKIYONAGA&CO. (福岡)に移し、"KYNE FUKUOKA"展を開催致します。
東京とは展示内容を変え、地元福岡でオリジナル作品を展示、販売する機会となります。
また福岡ではエディション作品の発表も予定している他、今回のために製作されたオリジナルプロダクトもご用意し、皆様のご来店を心よりお待ちしております。

■KYNE
福岡を拠点にグラフィティアーティストとしてキャリアをスタートさせたKYNE。
街のいたる所にタグされたモノクロ女性像のステッカーや作品は、シンプルな線画でありながら懐かしさや艶かしさ、普遍的な美しさを感じさせる。
自身が学んだ日本画の手法から平面的な世界観の中に奥行きを生み出す表現を追求し制作されるKYNEの美人画は、80年代のアイドルや漫画からの影響を色濃く残しながら、洗練された線と色使いによって見る者に強烈な印象を与える。

We are pleased to announce "KYNE TOKYO / KYNE FUKUOKA" by KYNE in GALLERY TARGET (TOKYO) and KIYONAGA&CO. (FUKUOKA).

From Aug. 26th, "KYNE FUKUOKA" will take a place at KIYONAGA&CO.
This will be an another great opportunity to see not only original canvas works, but also editioned works.

■KYNE
KYNE started as a graffiti writer in his hometown Fukuoka.
His tags and stickers of monochrome female images are drawn in simple lines which brings sentimental and erotic feeling, a universal beauty.
KYNE’s pursue of Nihonga (a Japanese type of painting generally using crushed mineral pigments mixed with a natural liquid adhesive and applied with sumi ink outlines on top of Japanese paper) combined with technique bringing depth in flat Bijinga (portrait of beautiful woman) while refining the influence from idols and cartoons of the 1980′s and his usage of refined lines and colors brings impressive impression.
