Today is #FightforChangeFriday and I couldn't be celebrating it on a better day than today!!! Why I fight is inspired by the life of a woman who would have been 83 today. My grandmother, Doris Dooyema, passed away 3 years ago from lung cancer. Not a day passes my heart doesn't ache at the loss and miss our talks. The cause I am fighting for is @lungforce and I am given the opportunity in her absence to carry on fighting to honor her life. To celebrate this incredible woman who wanted to inspire others with her story and educate people about lung cancer. As long as I breathe I will fight for a cure. In loss there is gratitude and everyday I am blessed to have an inspiring, strong example who helped raise me. Her life, simple to some, was something to be marveled. She lived it for others. She lived to give back. She lived to spread light and love to everyone. So today, her birthday, I am asking to please give generously. Help me celebrate her life by fighting with me for others.
