A supporter sent me a heartbreaking story about a declawed cat that they rescued and is suffering so much. ???It's on my website, CityTheKitty.com or I posted it on my fb page. ??
This legal cat cruelty must end. ?Any organization that doesn't help us completely end declawing is an accomplice to this cat crime. Any vet that burns off, chops off, or slices off a cat's toe bones and claws is a cat abuser and should be in jail. Do you know that in Israel, if a veterinarian declaws a cat, they will go to jail for a year and face a $20,000 fine.
I hope someday that's how it will be in America for this inhumane and barbaric procedure. Any vet that declaws cats should be shamed and you should take your business to an ethical and humane no-declaw vet. There are long lists of no-declaw ethical veterinarians on CityTheKitty.com, Declaw.Com, and Paw Project.Org
